When you start blogging you might find that it is difficult to start it and maintain it. Many people find this because it does take up a fair amount of time and there are tons, almost too many, different models and methods you can use to have a successful blog. Blogging guides also exist where people will give you advice and details about blogging - how to start, what to do, where to find the best money making possibilities etc. Well after searching the internet and looking at tons of ways to make blogging profitable, there are in fact many good ebooks around for you to start off your blogging venture.

Here are 3 sure-fire success tips excellent blogging guides will tell you.

1. Hand holding - With many other blogging guides, you will find that there is a lot of hyped up information and details that are a bit too complicated for newbie's to handle. Well, there is some blogging guides which will hand hold you for every step you take. The ebook author, having discovered all the ins and outs of blogging and how to actually make a living from it, will share with you the dos and don'ts of blogging.

It is not just a hobby, as he will put it, but you must actually be passionate and committed to your blogging. You will need to post topics every few days and keep working to promote the site and encourage traffic through various forms that he describes.

2. Screen shots - What is so great about a good blogging guide is that everything is given to you exactly and there must be screen shots included so that you don't get stuck at any point when you are going through the setting up of your blog and joining various websites. Tips and advice must be offered by the expert blogger and they include everything you need to know from setting everything up easily without making the same mistakes to making your first dollar.

In the guide, you should be given step by step instructions when you want to start making more money from your blog and when you want to drive more and more traffic to it. If the book promises that you, if you follow all the steps, will make about $2000 - $3000 every month, he will show you how in his guide. He will show how he does it with his blog which should be about a subject that he is interested in and everyone can do the same.

3. Starting off right - I feel a good blogging guide author should emphasize the key point are that you must choose to start a blog about something you are interested in and not just because you want to make money from it. You will need to target a market and make it very interesting and useful for people. If you enjoy what you are writing about and use the techniques and methods that he gives, you can easily do what he has done, and start earning big bucks from something that starts out as a fun sideline.

If you are interested in writing and want to just put your ideas down for everyone to read you can actually make money from them and turn it into a good business for yourself. Just use these excellent blogging guides that are given to you, and you will be successful in no time.

Being that viral marketing is all the rage and highly effective at passively spreading the word on your opinion, or for promotional purposes, article writing has grown in popularity amongst internet marketers. Considering the amount of time and 'labor' it takes to research, organize, and compose an article, the million dollar question here is how to 'maximize' the return off your efforts. Plainly speaking, how can you use an article you toiled over for not only 'publication purposes' via RSS but also for your own blog post and side step the duplicate content policies?

Well one approach you can follow without violating any policies would have you make a blog post first and assuming that you've pinged all the directories, wait 24 hours and then submit your article to as many directories as you wish. This way the directories would already recognize you as being the author.

Another approach would be to include the url of your blog in the resource box, (about the author) of your submission to the article directories. With this back link to your blog , the original content is now being referenced and you're 'covered'.

At this point lets 'step back' and look at yet another approach which, in my opinion, would address exactly what it is we're trying to accomplish.

When submitting to article directories, there's a certain protocol that needs to be followed or your article will not get published. The length of your article is one factor directories consider. Referencing other sources of information such as websites within your article is also a negative factor that directories will frown upon.

When making a blog post you can make it as long or as short as you please. Adding personal insights or url's is also your choice. It is after all your blog. If you are so inclined and feeling passionate enough about your posting you can even go into a 'Dennis Miller' rant.

My suggestion is this: compose the post for your blog first with all the 'personality', insight, and references you may want to add. Then after allowing the 24 hours for your post to 'circulate' submit to the article directories a 'recomposed' version of your post. This 'new' version may mean 'cleaning up ' the posting by removing any included references, altering it length accordingly, and rewording it to make it more appealing to the more mainstream readers you encounter through article publication as opposed to readers of your more personalized blog.

Adopt the mindset that one is a casual blog posting while the other is an article which generally is more structured.

Reworking your post should take minimal effort since you've already got the content laid out and the end result will be that although the general content of both will be similar it's doubtful that it would be viewed as 'duplicated' content. With a minimal amount of effort you've insured that both your blog post and your article are appealing to their respective targeted audiences getting you maximum results for your efforts!

Different Types of Blogs

Posted by kiran | 2:53 AM

Blogs are sources that provide information and news, regarding different topics. The term 'blog' is a more casual and popular term for 'Web log'. There are various types of web logs, depending on the kind of information, they provide.

Blog writing or blogging initially began in the form of diaries. These blog types provided personal information as in an autobiography of a person. This requires conscious writing and highlighted important aspects of a person's life, which most people would be keen in reading. This trend highly popularized the practice of blogging.

Blog Post Types:

1. Interviews: Writers often use interviews to learn more about a particular topic, they are working on. Thus, it may not include relevant information, but a general opinion of the public regarding a specific topic. Mostly, one or two questions are asked to get an overview of different responses.

2. Case Studies: It is one of the most popular types of blogs. Web sites include case studies, usually as review posts, where they add certain content information regarding their sites. Many web sites use case studies as a medium to generate income.

3. News Media: These are blogs which display illegal, incorrect, or inaccurate information. Sometimes, they take the content from a media source and make unintentional modifications and omissions.

4. Reviews: Usually, every online product or service has reviews along with it. They contain personal opinions or experiences regarding a particular product. This helps the readers to make a fair choice.

5. Corporate: Business entrepreneurs use corporate blogs to advertise their products and business processes. They update readers regarding recent projects, or services or any other modifications in business.

6. Rants: These are likely to trigger serious discussions and debates. Topics can range from political to ethical values and there are immense differences in opinions. Hence, they sometimes cause controversies, but are highly informative.

7. Spam or Splogs: Their basic purpose is to advertise commercial companies. They contain large number of links to enhance search engine results. Hence, they make use of repetitive text and keywords.

8. Critique Posts: Often mistaken as 'Attack Posts', they are aimed to criticize a particular aspect of a topic the site is advertising. However, critique blogs are mostly a result of criticism.

9. Personal: Teenagers usually, make use of personal web logs to post their anger or share some of their crucial moments and problems with distanced friends. Visitors have an access to such content and can post their opinions or suggestions on the tagboard.

10. Culture Blogs: A social organization designates bloggers to display content regarding the social aspects of a culture or cultural ethics. Here, the content is highly informal and a visitor can post an opinion, without offending any religion or culture.

Business organizations use branding, sales, relationship, collaboration and knowledge blogs, for different commercial reasons.

Inspirational, humorous, cultures, collation and problem posts are not so common types of web logs, but can bring a desirable change in thinking patterns, if used effectively.

As a new blogger I'm constantly on the look out for simple proven methods that will increase the amount of traffic that my blog receives. I will progress onto the more complex methods once have mastered the basics. These 3 tips outlined below are the basics and if they are done correctly I'm sure your readership levels will gradually increase. The best thing about them is that you don't have to spend a penny on them, all you need to do is use a little bit of time and energy, and if you aren't prepared to that do build up your blog, give up now.

Leaving Comments on Other Blogs - leave at least 10 comments on blogs you have never commented on before, every day. Do not just respond with only one line, write something that shows you have read the article and make it reasonable intelligent.

Submit All Your Article to the Following Social Sites - It goes without saying that the articles, which you publish on your blog, are of a good quality. Submit all your articles to the following' Deli.icio.us, Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon, Technorati.

Write One Controversial or Celebrity Based Article Every week - I would recommend writing about something or someone that has been in the news a lot in that particular week.

Don't expect the world too soon, what's the rush, if you preserve and work at it, and constantly evaluate and learn, you will succeed with your blog.

The correct answer as to why you should leave comments on a blog, is obviously because you have an intelligent answer that you would live to give relating to the article you have just read. It is also helps the blog site owner where the article appears, to judge the success and public opinion towards what they have published. For me these should be the primary reasons as to why you leave comments on someone else's blog. Well for me they are!

As a relatively new blogger its, coming up for my second full month of my journey towards becoming a successful and profitable blogger. It has become obvious to me, that you get plenty of people out there that leave comments on blogs for the sole purpose of kissing the ass of the superstar blogger. They leave second-rate comments or they can only agree with every word written by the well-known bloggers.

I suppose people that don't have a mind of their own and are spending every waking minute wishing they could be just like their hero, will never become successful. I think the reason why people like Yaro Starak , Darren Rowse, Shoemoney have become so successful is because they are original, they never had anybody to copy to mould themselves upon, to look too for ideas.

The only way we can become successful is to carve our own path, and for me that means I have drastically reduced the amount of time I spend reading the big blogs. I don't want to subconsciously or purposely, for that matter copy them. There is so many good new up and coming blogs out there in blog land which I feel will one day surpass the great well known bloggers of today.

The number 1 reason I feel why comments are left on blogs is link building and building traffic. Nothing wrong with that, but when it is obvious that the person hasn't even read the dam article and is leaving their mindless comments for the sole purpose or I should say vain hope that someone visits their own site. Why the heck am I going to visit your site when you leave a comment such as, "well written article, great stuff, keep up the good work". I feel that any blog owner should be proactive and delete such comments that are clearly a waste of time.

Why do you leave comments on blogs, be honest, do you even bother to read the article? Or are you one of those, who is petrified to leave constructive criticism on a well known bloggers blog.

I conducted a new business seminar for an ad agency yesterday. One of my recommendations was to use an agency blog as a new business tool and a positioning tool. They've committed the next 90 days making this a priority.

Why would I recommend a blog as one of the most important tools for ad agency new business?

Having an agency blog is well worth the time and effort. It provides many great benefits. Below are some of the important lessons I've learned through blogging and the ten reasons why your agency should have a blog:

  1. Communication that Connects. The most important lesson I've learned, "you don't know what you know until you write it down."I've been associated with great writers, I know that I'm not one of them! But blogging has been an great tool for me to better communicate my thoughts.
  2. New Business Paradigm Shift. New business for ad agencies is undergoing a paradigm shift; instead of hunting for clients it's now more important for your prospective clients to find your agency. Blogs make it easier for your prospective clients to find your agency. They'll even initiate contact when they are ready to engage.
  3. True Expertise. Clients want leadership not partnership from their agency. In the early days of television, programs were produced by ad agencies, leading the way utilizing new technology. Today, when they should be leading, they are woefully behind in Web 2.0 marketing expertise.
  4. Prominence of a Blog. It use to be said, "every business needs a Web site." Today, it's, "every business needs a blog." A blog will become the gateway to your agency, make your agency easier to find and provide a reason to visit online often. Your agency's Website becomes more like your agency's brochure. That's good news for the majority of agencies that know how difficult it is to redesign and update their Website!
  5. Learning is Doing. It is difficult to learn to use Web 2.0 tools, such as blogging, through a conference or seminar. You must experience it and discover the potential benefits it has for your agency and your clients.
  6. If its Good Enough for Your Client It Better Be Good Enough for You. Blogging is an excellent tool for new business. Demonstrate how these tools have helped your agency by practicing what you preach. It makes for a powerful illustration when you actually use the tools you recommend to your clients. Also be sure to point out that your competitors aren't using it.
  7. Personal Enrichment Tool. Blogging will enrich your professional life, keep up to date with the latest thinking and be aquainted with the latest and best new trends. That will be good for your clients, positioning you in their minds as the expert that you are.
  8. Positioning Tool. Most ad agencies struggle with narrowing their focus and thus have great difficulty in positioning and differentiating themselves. Blogging is an excellent tool to help ad agencies discover their positioning. A good example is the She-conomy blog, positioning a small ad agency as an expert marketing to women, who make 85% of all brand purchases.
  9. Focus on Client Benefits. Blogging keeps your agency focused on what is important to your prospective clients. It forces you talk to their benefit instead of talking about your agency.
  10. A Passion to Assist. Blogging isn't for every agency. If your agency doesn't have a culture of passion to help your audience succeed you wont succeed. As soon as you start to "sell" your agency, brag about your credentials and awards you will lose your credibility and your audience. Provide rich content that helps your prospects with their marketing challenges, build trust and new business will come.
Ultimately, a blog can be your most highly effective, powerful and low-cost new business marketing tool.

This article is about sponsored blogging. Are you familiar with it? In case you're one of the hundreds who's answer would be no, I'll explain it to you.

Sponsored blogging pays you to blog...it's a fact...you get paid from companies, your sponsors, to post articles about their news releases or their press releases on your blog. The writing is varied, you will be writing about a seemingly unlimited number of advertisers websites, products and services.

You are paid per posting, hence the term "pay per post". Many of the sponsored content marketplaces prefer that you disclose the fact that you are providing a sponsored posting within the article, some require it.

These are regular steady blogging opportunities offered by advertisers every day to independent bloggers. Advertisers need bloggers because of their ability to create buzz about upcoming projects or products.

Bloggers also help to build traffic to the advertisers website, complete with valuable backlinks. Bloggers also provide quality and usability feedback on the advertisers products and the list goes on and on.

There are some requirements for the prospective blogger to sponsored blogging. These requirements begin with traffic, advertisers like to see regular traffic to your blog. Of course, there is the regular no adult material, racist or hateful material, that should be an easy one.

You must be indexed by Google and Yahoo before you're eligible with some marketplaces. Some require being live for at least 3 months. You get the idea, the advertisers want to see traffic to your blog so someone actually sees your postings about their products.

If you are interested in sponsored blogging but you feel deficient in the area of traffic, start now to improve your SEO, do a giveaway, but get your traffic numbers up. Believe me if you have good traffic to your blog, the rest is easy.

Of course, the view on the other side of the fence is a little bit different. Many people clam up when they face the blinking curser and a blank white page. But a little bit of momentary fright is no reason to think you too can’t be a professional blogger . All it takes is some determination, some careful planning, and a willingness to share your thoughts and opinions with the world. Here are a few suggestions for jumpstarting your new career as a professional blogger.

Schedule Your Day

It might be tempting to wake up late in the morning, eat some leftover pizza and start penning your memoirs for all to see, but most professional bloggers who don’t stick to a schedule find themselves overwhelmed and distracted. Try setting specific blocks of time aside for writing. For example, if you’re a night owl, block out two hours in the evening that will be devoted to just writing, with maybe an hour before for research and an hour afterwards for final edits and revising. Any time of day will work, but a professional blogger won’t get very far if they can’t stick to a schedule.

Get Out Of The House

Don’t think that being a professional blogger means you get to sit in your underwear all day while the money rolls in. Many bloggers find they get distracted and lazy if they don’t have an office to go to, somewhere without the comforts of daytime television or repeat trips to the fridge. Finding a space designated solely for work can help you focus on the task at hand. A coffee shop or bookstore is perfect for the professional blogger because of their relative comfort, access to beverages and snacks, and free wireless Internet access.

Do Your Research

The difference between an amateur and professional blogger isn’t just the money made from blogging or the time spent writing. It’s also important to make sure you do your homework. Professional bloggers take the time to study up on their topics, reading arguments from both sides, exploring what others have said about their topic, and doing countless amounts of Google and Wikipedia searches. When you blog for a living, the worst thing you can do is get your facts wrong.

Don’t Avoid The Deadline

You might think that the life of a professional blogger is footloose and fancy-free, a life without cruel overlords demanding finished TPS reports by noon. But the truth is that professional bloggers have to live and die by the deadline, or their blogging days are numbered. Some writers handle deadlines better than others (Douglas Adams once said, “I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by,” while professional blogger and copywriter Ainsley Drew loves deadlines, “'Cause I like to complain and they give me a reason to.”) but they’re an unavoidable part of writing. Keep your deadlines organized and always in sight, then meet them. The worst thing a professional blogger can do is blatantly miss a deadline and still expect their client to pay.

Just Write!

You’ve found a coffee shop to call your office, color coded your organizer for each important deadline, done your research and started the clock. What now? Now it’s time to put one word in front of another and write. Don’t let the blank page psych you out. You’re a professional blogger. Get writing.

Blogging is the new age online mantra for getting higher visibility and writing one's own mind. But did you know blogging can be a profitable option over the internet? Well! Not many people are aware of this but you can earn money by spreading your blogging interests over several revenue streams.

There are different options through which you can generate revenue in blogging and one of the most popular one is the affiliate program. Affiliate programs are quite a hit and if you are able to tie-up with affiliate programs offered by the big fish like Linkshare, Amazon, Commission Junction, and Clickbank apart from many others then you will be able to generate high revenue through your blog. All you have to do is promote different products of Amazon or Linkshare and add their link on your blog. If someone reads your blog, clicks on the link and buys the product from Amazon then you get to keep the commission. This is not a "make money now" type of program and will drive higher profits over longer periods.

Affiliate programs deliver profit over a certain time period and hence can be stated as time driven revenue opportunities. But if your blog is interesting and informative and is able to draw a lot of visitors then you will be able to make a higher profit within a short period of time. To make that happen, you need to work hard on providing high quality and relevant content with images that have visual appeal as well as relevance on your blog.

Blogs are one of the most powerful tools of self expression as well as advertising over the internet. You can do just about anything in your blog: write high quality content, provide audio or video attachments and add attractive images or graphs to make your blog post look appealing as well as keep it relevant. Over the years, blogs have also become a good source of indirect income. There are plenty of ways through which, you can generate revenue through your blog and some of them include RSS advertising.

RSS advertising is still in its nascent stage although; it has grown in leaps and bounds in the last 12 months. As compared to the other advertising options, it is not as profitable as yet but since these are early days, it will be tough to predict an outcome in the years to come. But most internet experts feel that use of RSS advertising in blogs will bring in handsome returns. Another area of earning money through blogs is sponsorship.

Apart from the various advertising programs available for bloggers, sponsorship is another in the queue that will not only add value to your business and blog but also provide the opportunity to generate income through direct advertising on your blogs. One of the recent examples of such campaigns is the ones that Adobe and Ricoh did with some of the bloggers. The only drawback is that sponsorship is available not on your blog but on a particular post and hence the income earned will only be on a post to post basis.

While improving your blog may seem like a daunting task, I will show you 6 easy tips that will improve your blog in no time at all. These are just a few of many that can accomplish this task, but are ones that I use to improve my blogs and they will work over and over again. Comment at related blogs - This is probably the biggest thing you can do to improve and promote your blog. It is very simple. Just make comments on other blogs that are related to yours. When you make a comment, it is standard to leave your name and URL. If you leave a relevant comment, maybe even with some free advice, other readers will visit your blog to see what you are all about. Write a weekly "best of" post - It is fairly simple to do. Make a weekly post that spotlights the best posts that you have read on other peoples blogs. By linking directly to the post, you create trackback links on other blogs and this will result in new readers to your blog. This is sort of works like a backwards blog comment. Be sure to link - A very important persona of your blog is the links that you provide. The more link outs you have the more your readers perceive it as more authoritative and valuable. It also shows that you are not trying to hide something and also show that you put credit where credit is due.

Improve your blog's look - Why use the same templates and designs that many other blogs are using? Use a design that is totally different than everyone else and people will remember "that cool looking blog" that they had seen earlier and come back to it. If you can not find a unique template or don't know how to change your design, consider outsourcing to have it done. Know your readers - Just because you have a blog, don't put yourself on a pedestal above everyone else. Get to know your visitors by responding to their comments, become friends with them and in return they will spread the word about you and your blog.

Create reader friendly content - Make sure that your content speaks to all of your potential audience. Make it entertaining and interesting for all to read. You want your content to be shared, if it reads like a tech manual, readers are going to give up on it let alone share it.

Remember that blogging is supposed to be fun, for you and your readers. I hope this will help you improve your blog and take it to the next level.

It often pays to be a blogger these days. Some individuals do it for the sheer fun of sharing their knowledge and idea on certain topic of interest, and others may participate in the hope of making money from blogging. There are actually successful people who are able to earn hundreds, or even thousands of dollars in a short time.

There are many ways to monetize a blog today. You can opt for direct advertising, by selling ad spaces or you can choose to place affiliate links to other products and get a handsome commission from every sale made through those links. You can enjoy the endless possibilities of earning money through your blogs. There is one ingredient for success that you need to make successful - the 'big T'. The big T essential for success is traffic!

Let's share some great ways to make money from your blog. If you have just started out, PayPerPost and ReviewM are excellent choices. These are easy to start since they do not require you to have a certain amount of traffic before you can get started. For busy bloggers, these are indeed a godsend. Writing reviews for a fee is becoming a good way to make money blogging.

It is possible to make a decent amount of money by using this method. Do spend some time looking into these points beforehand. Some people then only post when they make a review, which is not the way to go about it. Too many posts that are sponsored will lose you regular readers; only write reviews that are relevant to your core subject(s).

You have more options if the rewards depend on the readers responses. If you use affiliate links, they are perfect examples of this principle in action. With this option, you should have the ability to incorporate the existing contents of your blogs with the offers that let you earn money. For instance if you blog on repairing credit, then use every opportunity to provide links to various products that are related, using your affiliate links. There are some wonderful surprises to be discovered using this method. Key players include NeverBlueAds, AzoogleAds, Share-a-Sale, and Commission Junction; you can find lucrative offers by visiting them online.

Those who prefer less intrusive methods of advertising go for content based ads. Based on the content of the pages, the displayed ads are automatically generated. It is well known that Yahoo advertising and Google Adsense obviously use such programs for their ad network.

You can see millions are people who are using such ad networks and making good money through them. It means that every time a person visits your blog(s), you have a chance of earning; large amounts of cash are possible if you incorporate them into your site. You will also be able to provide your audience with related content they may find quite useful.

What's stopping you? Choose the money making option that will work for you; however, although there are plenty available do not expect everyone to work. It takes certain traits to e a successful blogger. There is always a way to make money online using your talents. Start right now to be a blogger and do not waste any more of you time and talent; make a difference in your life and the lives of those you are given the privilege to touch.

If you have a blog, or are thinking about starting a blog, then you are definitely going to want to read this article. Its all about how to line your pockets with money thats just waiting to be made without working much harder than you already are.

No only are blogs the hottest thing on the net right now, but they are custom-made for Google's AdSense program. Why? Its simple. Blogs represent constantly changing and fresh content to Google's search engine spiders. Feeding fresh content to those little spiders is just like tossing raw meat to a tiger. They just gobble it up. The more pages of your blog that get indexed, the more traffic you get. And the more traffic you get, the more exposure your AdSense ads get. Are you beginning to see where I'm heading here?

Its not just Google that loves new content, all of the major engines do. In fact, some web-savvy bloggers are testing Google ads on one page and Overture ads on the other. It doesn't take too long to see which ads are doing the best when you have nearly side-by-side comparison statistics to look at. Just don't make the mistake of putting Google and Overture ads on the same page together. While they wont kill each other like a pair of Siamese fighting fish in the same bowel will, you will be violating both sites Terms of Service, and it isn't worth killing the goose (geese) that laid the golden egg.

Its a snap to set up Google AdSense ads on your blog. Everything you need to know is right inside of the Google control panel. Whats not so easy is figuring out what ads are going to appear on each page. Since Google targets your key words, and your blog articles could possible wander towards any subject, you never know what you're going to get.

Well, never is a strong word because there actually IS a way to pre-test your blogs ads before you post your newest edition. Heres what you do:

Write your blog article like you normally would Plug in your AdSense code and then post your newest page to a sub directory thats not part of your blog. Click refresh a few times until Google wakes up and starts sending ads. If you don't like what you see then fine-tune the article until you see the types of ads that you're looking for.

With some ads paying as much as $5 per click or more, Id certainly spend an extra 30 minutes or so tweaking my blog. Thats for sure.

If you're working hard to get your blog in front of visiting eyeballs, then it doesn't make any sense at NOT to be using Google AdSense to draw every penny out of your site thats possible. OK, thats the end of the article. Now get busy tweaking your blog and checking your ads. You've got money waiting to be made!

Blogging traffic is a give and take relationship.Sometimes one of the best ways to get traffic to your blog is by visiting someone else 's blog.

Go to their blog and read one of their entries, or read a few of them. Chances are that you are going to find something that you have in common.

When you find something that you find truly interesting on a blog, leave a comment so that they know that you were there.

One of the best known blogs available is Live Journal. A great feature of Live Journal is that you can search for interests on their site and it will come up with results of those who have that interest.

Are you interested in horseback riding You can see what other bloggers are interested in horseback riding as well.

When you are commenting on someone's post, you want to make sure that you don't leave generic comment. If you like the post, say something about what you read in the post.

After you have commented on the person's post, then you can say something like, 'I really like horsebackriding too. I had a similar experience to yours.' and then use it to link back to your journal.

But be sure that you sound sincere when you are commenting, and don't make them feel like you're just fishing for traffic.

If someone thinks that you are using their blog to get more traffic to yours, they won't visit your site and your efforts will be wasted.

Join A Community To Advertise Your Blog

Something that you will find, especially if you join something like Live Journal or Greatest Journal, is that users just like you have created communities for people with common interests.

There are communities for just about any subject, and if you find that there isn't a community for the subject you can create one. This is a great place to advertise your blog.

The nice thing about communities is that there isn't any limit as to how many communities that you can join.

For example, say that you love blogging about books, horseback riding, and skiing in Tahoe. All you have to do is look through the communities for ones that have those interests and join them.

As long as you post something related to the topic to the chosen community, people will see you and perhaps they will check out your personal blog.

Something to remember is that you don't want to write a post that is one sentence long in order to get people to go to your blog. They will want to know that what you write is interesting and is something worth reading.

Joining communities can be a great way to advertise your blog and drive traffic to it. If you are referring to something that you posted about on your blog, you can use a link back to your entry in your post.

As with posting comments on someone else's blog, you don't want people to think that you joined a community simply to get traffic to your blog. Otherwise, people won't visit your blog and you may get banned from the community as well.

Email Groups - Hidden Treasure Troves For Advertising A Blog

Something that has become increasingly popular since the Internet has grown are the email groups that are available through Yahoo, MSN, and other venues.

They are a great way to meet other people who have a common interest, and are very similar to the communities that are available through blogging sites.

There is plenty of diverse subjects and there are communities for just about any subject.

These groups can be a great place for people who have a blog about the subject and want to share it with other people.

Most of the time when you join a group, you are encouraged to take a moment and to introduce yourself. This is a great opportunity to tell people about your blog, but make certain that you don't overdo it.

Just like with any of the other places you will advertise your blog, you want to make people want to go to your blog. If you are too overbearing, you will turn people off.

If your blog covers different subjects, you can advertise it on the other groups that cover those subjects as well.

Make certain that your post to the groups is interesting and that you let people know what it is that your blog is about. There's nothing worse than getting taken to a blog under false pretences.

When people visit your blog, make certain that you thank them for visiting and respond to comments that they leave.

If they know that you appreciate the time that they took, they are more likely to come back again.

The power of being seen is the up most importance and blogging is one the best ways you can make sure others know of you, don't let it pass you by.

Thinking of making money online? Ever thought how easy it can be? Yes, it is possible to make money online, easily.

Today I want to share with you one way that you can make money easily. Before we start, let's clarify a few things.

1) You wouldn't be making $10,000 in just one month. But as a good start, you can make at least $500 for your first month

2) You will not need to spend any money. If you want, it's just a domain name and web hosting which can be accquired for less than $20

OK, want to know what it is? Simple, make money with blogs. I will show you 2 companies that will pay your cold hard cash just by blogging!

First, you must have a blog. You can get it for free from Blogger.com, or you can buy a domain name and setup a WordPress blog under your web hosting account. But, for a starter, we will go for blogger.com. If you already have a blog, that's great. If you have a blog that you haven't been touching for ages, start blogging now.

Once you have a blog, sign up for these 2 companies: www.sponsoredreview.com and www.payperpost.com

What they provide is that there are 2 groups of users: Advertisers and bloggers (which is you).

You will submit your blog to the 2 companies for review. Once they approve your blog, your blog will be available for advertisers to review your blog.

If they like your blog, they will request you to make a blogpost in your blog, and you have to link to their website.

You will get paid for at least $5 to as much as $200 per post! If your blog have been established for a long-time with good posts, you can command a price of $200. Of course, as a starter, settle with $5 per post first. As you spend more time blogging, your blog will become more 'valuable' and you will be able to command a better price in a few months.

On average, you can get 1-2 requests per day to post to your blog. Even if you make one blog post per day at $5 each, that is $150 in a month for a few minutes job! You make even more money if you have more than one blog.

I recommend that you submit at least 2 blogs to each of the companies so that you get more exposure and more chances of getting selected to post. Also, as a recommendation, have a blog that is general topic in nature so that you can get much more exposure.

Have a specialized blog of your topic too. If you are interested in dogs, have a blog on dogs and you will attract advertisers who are promoting dogs related products and you can command a slightly higher premiums for your posts.

OK, now you have an idea, go and start a blog today!

Have you ever thought about whether or not you could get paid for blogging online? Well, you can. There are a number of ways to get paid for blogging online. There are quite a few service brokers who will set you up with advertisers who need specialized advertising written for their blogs. Obviously you'd need a thorough understanding of the products or services that these companies provide.

Another excellent way for you to get paid for blogging online is by affiliate marketing. If you've not heard of this, it's where you sign up as an affiliate to some online product or service and write your own articles and post to your own blog describing the benefits of the product/service. One great area to market is informational products. These are generally downloadable electronic books that offer to teach people various skills. The internet marketing category is one of the largest users of these books.

But what if you are new to blogging or have yet to establish an online presence? Or maybe you are familiar with blogging and you've been online for a while but don't really know how to get paid doing it. There is a ton of information online that explains how to blog. Of course you may not want to spend the hours it will take to collate all that information together. In that case you'll want a comprehensive "how-to" guide to show you all the steps to start making money online. That's where I found myself a couple of years ago. But I was fortunate recently to find just such a comprehensive program. It had everything- How to find and set up the correct blog theme, which color schemes to choose, how to drive readers to my blog, and most importantly...how to get paid for blogging. I chose the affiliate marketing model and have done quite well for myself. If you've ever thought about the idea of making money online but don't quite know where to start, click the link in my author's box and I'll show you how to get going

A blog has just been made and it is staring right at you. What should be the next step to do once a blog has been accomplished? One imperative step is to drive traffic into your site. Driving traffic to a site could mean having enough readers, having a base clientèle, or simply put, it could be a chance to bring in the bucks.

There are many ways of driving traffic to sites. You can do this by joining social networking sites; through advertisements; RSS feeds; and affiliate marketing. sometimes, even simple methods such as pinging could make the world know that your site exists.

A ping is a way of notifying the major search engines to make them know that the blog that you have created has had a recent update. This is like calling up these search engines and letting them know that a certain update has been made. You ping by making a bookmark or placing an entry into one of the sites for blogging: examples include Technorati, del.icio.us, Furl, Flickr, and Blinklist.

Once you are already on any of the blogging sites, you just click on your own blog or tag to update your blog information. Many of these blogging systems do an automatic ping for updates on blogs. There is also another way to do this, and this is by manually pinging. The example here is Technorati: http://www.technorati.com/ping. If it is still confusing, you can opt to go to http://pingomatic.com (this site will help its users automatically ping their blogs on majority of the blogging services).

No matter how basic this action is, it is still very important to ping your blogs each time that you update them. And why is pinging necessary? Pinging lets the important people (or your market) know that an update has taken place on your site. This is a simple way of building blog traffic.

The pinging alerts that are sent to the major sites for blog tracking help numerous search engines on re-indexing the new contents that have been added at a quicker pace. This is also a good way for the search engines to analyze what would be better for the business that you are watching over. Pinging brings over a lot of potential clients to the Web site. With the traffic already targeted, there are much better chances that these potential clients become real customers.

Visitors to the sites that you have pinged will be able to see your blog's link once an update has been made. Also, since what is being discussed here are the majority of search engines, and also high-traffic directories, then it is very likely that people who visit these sites are more prone to click on the link that leads back to your blog. This makes your market more specific or targeted.

Remember not to pay for software or any services that are being offered by anyone on pinging. Pings can be done for free and you need not shell out even a penny. There may be a lot of options out there that claim that paid pings perform better-well, do not be fooled. All these work exactly the same and the concept of pinging is so simple that no software should be better able to deliver when compared with another.

Posted by kiran | 7:40 PM

So now, after our previous correspondence I know your aware of the influence the Internet has and can start seeing new potential in different areas of your business already.

It is in this time that I must share with you this next freedom tactic, for I can not let you market on the Internet without it.

For those of you that understand the 80 - 20 rule, which is usually the 20% percent it refers to; this means you must build a blog.

The original definition of a blog is an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page; also called Weblog, Web log.

(Resource: dictionary.com)

This means that you now have a means to speak to your target market directly, to update them as often as you wish and a few more vital reasons we're about to discuss now.

Think of a blog this way, the Internet, search engines are always on look out for fresh new content, reliable of course, and also entertaining.

Blogs keep everyone happy, because the information in a blog is relayed to as "underground", and it usually displays the character and views of the author well. Search engines become enthralled with them and readers can't stop reading them.

This is why you must build a blog, several in fact that the search engines can crawl for valuable content.

Without a blog your credibility is shot on the Internet. You are basically saying to everyone that you are indeed not a leader and have nothing valuable to say.

I know someone brilliant once said, "If it's not in a blog its not worth talking about at all."

A blog is also used as a means of communication. There are times when you'd like to email a group a particular message or an update.

Instead of sending an email that will reach most people's bulk mail filters, you can write a blog and then direct traffic to it instead.

This way you are providing content and are using the tools of the Internet to market.

Throughout this article, I have provided you with examples of blogs so that you may study several and start your own immediately.

Blogs are used primarily to funnel traffic to other marketing ventures. Allow me to explain. Lets say you write a blog that includes your favorite poems, a few you've written and other cool stuff. By adding the links of products you endorse, such as a how to write poems eBook, I guarantee if your directing traffic you will make money.

The key in having a blog, just like anything else is in the content you provide. The more targeted, valuable information you provide the more you become an asset. People will not buy from you or take your blog serious if you are trying to sell them in any way. Your goal in having the blog is to share unsolicited, unbiased facts. The more you get this point across the more you'll benefit from having a blog.

Here are some great ideas of blogs that have always been effective and still continue to be.

1.) How to - A "how to" blog is simply enough the easiest blog you can write. Just think of a skill you have and then give a step by step tutorial that will allow everyone to know what you know.

Example: for complete resources in this article please view DSterlin.com

2.) Top 10 - The most clicked upon, and highly searched blogs are top ten lists of some sort. They attract readers because it gives them the exact information their looking for, no barriers and its straight to the point.

Example: for complete resources in this article please view DSterlin.com

Again it should not be your intention to try to sell anything in your blog. You want people to be able to come and gather info

A blog also serves as your own "identification card" to the search engines. By uploading your information to your blog first you let them know that the content is indeed original and yours.

Lets go over the main points of this email so you understand exactly why Blogging is here and here to stay it shall, so get familiar with it.

- Free way to communicate with others, and much more reliable than email

- Great content means fresh content for the search engines

- Boosts credibility and gives people the opportunity to get to know you

- Dedicated readers will subscribe to your rss feeds (This is a whole other subject in itself and will be fully detailed in The MLM Freedom Tactic Course)

- Excellent opportunity to passively suggest a product to others

There are many other reasons blogs are such a helpful commodity to those who use it but honestly you'll begin to see them for yourself when you start writing your own.

With that said, start taking action and get ready because Tactic 3 "How Much of Your Happiness Is Caused by Your Thoughts?" is on its way, and this is definitely the secret information you'll need to get to the next level.

Blogging Basics

Posted by kiran | 7:39 PM

If writing is an art, blogging is could be defined as art too. The people who are really into blogging are the ones who are artistic in their own way. They carefully choose words that would best describe their feelings, sentiments, wishes, desires, and everything else. These types of blogs sometimes go rather well with the people reading them. They feel as if the know the author of the blog.

Basically, blogs were first introduced online as weblogs. This was in the mid 1990's. They were referred to as "server's log file." It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Web logging as it was called, gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a great source of information. However, with web logging, you still need a web site and your own domain. With blogging, you do not need your own website or domain. You just need to sign-up with a blog provider, which there are many that are free of charge. Don't get me wrong, you can still have it all too. You can have the domain and blog in one package.

There are different types of blogs. You can have a personal blog or a business blog. I actually have a few of both. Business blogs are usually created to advertise the services or products of a certain web site or online business in order to increase their online sales. It is also a great way to add content to your website. Personal blogs are created for a variety of reasons. Like a journal, people can write their daily adventures, dreams, goals and whatever else they want to share with the world.

If you are thinking of starting a blog, whether it is personal or business, you might want to read the three tips below to start off on the write foot :

1. Consider your audience - Who will you be writing for. Who will be reading your blog.
Even if you have a personal blog, thing about what is going to interest your readers.

2. A picture speaks a thousand words - Include images in your blog posts. People love reading blogs that include photos.

3. Make Your Blog Interactive - Be sure to allow for comments on your blog. When you get comments, be sure to respond to your readers.

Remember, a blog is what you want it to be about. There are no guidelines or rules. You set the rules. Just be sure to post to your blog frequently. Many times when you don't update your blog on a regular basis, you will slowly loose your readers. Enjoy your blogging hobby, it might be rewarding in the long run.

Want to reap more profits from your blog? Or is your blog a feeder site used to funnel traffic to your main site? Either way, your goal is to get more visitors now! Here are the 3 keys to attracting more red-hot visitors to your blog without breaking a sweat:

1. Continually update your blog with fresh, new content! The ideal situation is to update your blog daily. Yes, daily. Then ping your blog after every new post. This will bring you a stream of direct visitors every time. If you can't update your blog everyday, there's a new service created by Jon Leger called Share A Post at Share A Post dot com that allows you to syndicate summaries of blog posts from other blogs and plug them into your blog!

2. Use an automatic social bookmark poster like Auto Social Poster or Social Bookmarking Demon. These software will automatically bookmark your new posts at dozens of top social bookmarking sites, giving you a flood of fresh backlinks and direct traffic for no additional effort.

3. Optimize your blogs to achieve 'hot spot' search engine rankings. The 'hot spot' rankings are those in the top 3 of the search results pages. Optimize your blog posts by including your targeted keyword phrase in the title and place the keyword phrase again a few times in the article. Organic traffic is the best kind of traffic you can get on the web (free and highly targeted), so reap it by getting those rankings for your blog posts!
